We’ve heard it before, life is not a dress rehearsal!
But just how often do we grab the bull by the horns and make the most of our situation?
When I left the BBC to establish my own company people said I was crazy.
No salary, no pension, no healthcare, no backup … that’s got to be crazy, right?
Wrong!
Being on your own means you can truly take ownership of your ideas and the smarter you work, the more you get paid, and the more you get paid, the less you work! Right? Well, that’s the plan!
Today we’re launching the blue stone blog from Rob Bryce ( yeah, that’s me!) with loads of help from Ally Simpson and Nigel Elliott, which is really exciting because we want to share our ideas with you to help you grow your business too.
Take the bull above for instance! He’s a champion Aberdeen Angus and is totally black.
He is also naturally polled, which is why he has no horns!
We had an idea to film him HD on a black background in a blacked out barn.
And guess what .. ? Yes, we were told we were crazy ( that word again).
But we grabbed our bull by the horns because we wanted to make a remarkable film. And we did.
And you can do it too!
It’s not always easy and it’s not always straightforward.
But if you have a great idea, no matter how crazy, go for it.
